AUCTION for ISLA
	3 year old Isla Duncan has now completed her high strength chemotherapy treatments for Embryonic Rhabdomayo Sarcoma. This has been successful so far in significantly reducing the tumour. Surgery is not an option due to the location. The only treatment that may be successful is "Proton Therapy" which is available in America. The plan is for Robbie & Elaine Duncan's son Kerr and his family to be there for eight weeks whilst Isla receives this therapy. It is anticipated that this will be in October 2011. The NHS will fund Isla's proton therapy and will provide a contribution to the associated costs of Kerr and his family travelling. They are planning to take their baby son Adam who was born just one week after Isla was admitted to the Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital in February. He is now 5 months old and Debbie's mother will travel with them to provide support. Money raised will go towards their costs and accommodation for the whole family. Any money left will be gifted to the "CLIC Sergeant" charity who have given them tremendous support while Isla has been in Edinburgh and also to Cancer Research. Listed below are some of the items and events donated by well-wishers for auction. This was held at Brodick Golf Club on Saturday 1st October.
